I would like to see a robust and central way of recording Salesperson notes, stored against the names of our clients and customers.
At the moment, all I see is fragmentation with different systems. A centralised point to store information, available easily and only to ourselves would be not only useful, but essential if there were any REA or complaint issues.
Emails & texts are fine but inefficient - there needs to be a central repository of these as well as informal communications such as verbal discussions to refer back to.
This would also be helpful not just from a compliance point of view, but also a conversation starter.
An example note - “10 Aug 2024 - met with Mr Vendor, dogs name is Molly, first child is Ben, another child on the way, maybe looking to upsize in January after new baby arrives. Give them a call in November”
